Outdoor Recreation

“We would love for a disc golf option on base.”
We Heard Ya! We are in the beginning stages of building a disk golf course near the paintball field and expect to open to the public this summer.
Update: Due to wet weather conditions, the project has been delayed and is now expected to be completed by 1 October, 2025.
 

Fitness

“We need a true football field without ruts and holes.”
We Heard Ya! The Sports Complex is being upgraded with a synthetic field and resurfaced running track and will be completed in April 2025!
Update: This project was finished on schedule and the renovated facility is now open to the public.

“Please remove the humidity in the fitness center, which causes slippery conditions on the basketball court.”
We Heard Ya! A trouble ticket has been submitted to public works for a fix. Meanwhile, dehumidifiers have been put in place as a temporary remedy.
Update: The humidity issue has been resolved.
 

Arts & Crafts

“We would love to have afternoon adult craft classes."
We Heard Ya! We will be adding a monthly afternoon class starting March.
 

Tickets & Travel

“We want to have the ability to purchase discounted tickets to Audubon attractions.”
We Heard Ya! Tickets & Travel has negotiated an agreement to sell tickets to the zoo, aquarium and insectarium at 20% off!

Liberty Center

“I want a quiet, clean place to have lunch that is indoors and away from my desk.”
We heard Ya!  Effective immediately, the Liberty Center will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1100 - 1300.
